Liberia Awards Four Offshore Oil Blocks to Nigeria's Atlas-Oranto Petroleum in Major Energy Sector Revival Push
Liberia has signed Production Sharing Contracts with Nigeria's Atlas-Oranto Petroleum for four offshore oil exploration blocks (LB-15, LB-16, LB-22, LB-24). The deal, signed in Paris, includes a US$12 million signature bonus and an estimated US$800 million investment, aiming to revive Liberia's energy sector after a decade of inactivity.
