Following his passing, high-ranking officials including Xi Jinping, Li Qiang, Zhao Leji, Wang Huning, Cai Qi, Ding Xuexiang, Li Xi, Han Zheng, and Hu Jintao, among others, either visited him during his hospitalization or conveyed their condolences afterward, underscoring the broad impact and esteem in which Zou was held.
