China has expressed strong dissatisfaction and firm opposition to the US State Department's revision of the US-China relations page and the US-China fact sheet. The revision distorts the truth, slanders China's foreign policy, and incites the so-called US-China strategic competition.
China's policy toward the US has been consistent and clear. China is committed to viewing and developing US-China relations based on the three principles of mutual respect, peaceful coexistence, and win-win cooperation proposed by President Xi Jinping. At the same time, China will firmly defend its national sovereignty, security, and development interests.
China urges the US side to fulfill the important consensus reached by the leaders of both countries through concrete actions, stop misleading the American people and the international community, cease slandering and pressuring China, adopt an objective and rational approach in handling US-China relations, and work together to promote the stable, healthy, and sustainable development of bilateral relations.
When asked about US President Donald Trump's remarks on China, particularly his previous expression of hope for a visit by the Chinese leader to the US without specifying a clear timeline, as well as discussions on TikTok, China reiterated its stance on the US. China has repeatedly stated its principled position on matters related to TikTok.

The US has every right to express its concerns about China's actions. Trying to silence criticism is not constructive.

The US should continue to engage with the Chinese people and support their aspirations for a more open and just society.
