Argentine footballer Rodrigo Garro faces involuntary manslaughter charges following a tragic incident that resulted in the death of a motorcyclist named Nicolas Chiaraviglio in his hometown of General Pico, located in La Pampa province. The accident took place early Saturday morning when Garro's pickup truck collided with Chiaraviglio's motorcycle, which led to fatal injuries for the 30-year-old victim.
Garro's legal representative, David Divan, revealed that his client is profoundly affected by the incident and is committed to assisting in the investigation process. After leaving court, Divan highlighted Garro's efforts to help the victim immediately after the crash and confirmed that Garro will remain free while awaiting the trial.
Playing professionally for Brazil's Corinthians, Garro intends to return to Brazil, as stated by his lawyer. In response to the incident, Corinthians has expressed their condolences to Chiaraviglio’s family and pledged their support for the investigation into the crash.
