A Dominant Display Paves the Way for a Potential Fourth Title

Brooks Koepka is in prime position to win his fourth LIV Golf title after carding a bogey-free 7-under-par 64 on Saturday at the rain-delayed LIV Golf Singapore. The five-time major champion sits at 12-under 130 for the tournament, holding a three-stroke lead over a quartet of golfers at Sentosa Golf Club's Serapong Course.

Koepka, who turned 34 on Friday, followed up his opening round 66 with another impressive performance. He overcame a lengthy rain delay to birdie four of his final six holes and maintain his lead.

"I just chilled," Koepka said of the delay. "We were all talking, watching some of the hockey, some of the basketball. That's what I would do anyway if I was having some chill time anyway. Just worked out, and it was kind of nice to watch some of that."

Koepka's ball-striking and putting have been on point this week, and he feels his game is rounding into form. "Ball-striking is finally starting to come around, putting starting to heat up a bit," he said. "I think I'm just hitting better golf shots, kind of fundamentals and with a bit of swagger. Just pleased with the way I've played so far."

Defending champion Talor Gooch, who sits eight strokes back, acknowledges the difficulty of catching Koepka when he has a lead. "Out here there's enough shots that are demanding that if you get a little bit loose, it's easy to not shoot 3- or 4-under par out here," Gooch said. "You've got to play some dang good golf. But if you are playing good, as he's done and as others have done, you can make some birdies and get it going."

The final round promises to be an exciting battle as Koepka looks to secure his fourth LIV Golf victory.
