ENEM 2025 Individual Results Released This Friday in Brazil

ENEM 2025 Results Now Available

The individual results for the National High School Exam (ENEM) 2025 were officially released this Friday, January 16, 2026, in Brazil. The announcement was made by the Ministry of Education (MEC) and the National Institute of Educational Studies and Research Anísio Teixeira (Inep). Students who participated in the exam can now access their scores, which are crucial for their academic future.

How to Access Your Scores

Participants can check their individual performance exclusively through the 'Página do Participante' (Participant's Page) on the Inep website. To log in, students must use their gov.br credentials, which include their CPF (individual taxpayer registry) and registered password. The results provide detailed scores for each of the four knowledge areas, as well as the essay (Redação) score, which ranges from zero to one thousand points. The assessed areas include:

  • Linguagens, Códigos e suas Tecnologias
  • Matemática e suas Tecnologias
  • Ciências Humanas e suas Tecnologias
  • Ciências da Natureza e suas Tecnologias
  • Redação

Next Steps for Students: University Admissions

The ENEM scores are a fundamental gateway to higher education in Brazil. With their results in hand, students can apply for various government programs:

  • Sisu (Sistema de Seleção Unificada): This program allows students to compete for vacancies in public universities across the country. Inscriptions for Sisu are scheduled to open from January 19 to 23.
  • Prouni (Programa Universidade para Todos): Through Prouni, students can apply for scholarships (50% or 100%) in private universities. The inscription period for Prouni will run from January 26 to 29.
  • Fies (Fundo de Financiamento Estudantil): Fies offers student financing options for those wishing to pursue higher education in private institutions.

Additionally, some Portuguese universities accept ENEM scores as part of their admission processes.

Exam Overview and Treineiros' Results

The ENEM 2025 examination was administered on November 9 and 16, 2025, nationwide. Exceptions were made for certain municipalities in Pará, specifically Belém, Ananindeua, and Marituba, where the tests were held on November 30 and December 7, due to the 30th United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP30). More than 4.8 million candidates registered for this edition, with an attendance rate of approximately 70% to 72% across the two days of testing. For 'treineiros'—students who took the exam for self-assessment and have not yet completed high school—their individual results will be released at a later date, typically around 60 days after the main results.

ENEM scores open doors to higher education, which is fantastic for social mobility. However, the disparity in preparation resources means not everyone starts on an equal footing, making the competition incredibly tough.

Too much pressure on a single test. It doesn't reflect true potential.
