Strategic Partnership to Boost Brazil's Green Energy Transition
Envision Energy, a global leader in green technology, has officially partnered with Casa dos Ventos, Brazil's largest renewable energy developer, in a landmark agreement to supply 630 megawatts (MW) of AI-enabled wind power. This collaboration marks Envision's inaugural net-zero energy project in Brazil and includes a 30-year long-term service agreement. The signing ceremony took place in São Paulo on January 8, 2026, witnessed by key figures including Lei Zhang, Chairman of Envision, and Mário Araripe, Founder of Casa dos Ventos.
The initiative is set to significantly contribute to Brazil's energy transition, reinforcing the country's standing as a prominent player in the global green energy market.
Advanced AI Wind Turbine Technology Deployment
Under the terms of the agreement, Envision Energy will provide its customized 8.xMW Galileo AI wind turbines. These units are among the largest single-capacity turbines to be deployed in Brazil. The turbines are powered by Envision's sophisticated AI systems, specifically the Tianshu Large Energy Model and the Tianji Large Weather Model. These advanced models are designed to optimize energy output, enhance reliability, and ensure long-term project value by integrating global wind system expertise with Brazil's local resources, grid conditions, and technical standards.
Lucas Araripe, Executive Director of Casa dos Ventos, stated, 'Our decision to partner with Envision is grounded in its leading technology, advanced AI capabilities, and long-term commitment with Brazil as a strategic market.' He further added that this collaboration is expected to facilitate the delivery of high-quality, large-scale wind projects while accelerating the growth of emerging industries and attracting advanced technologies.
Expanding Horizons: Data Centers, Green Hydrogen, and Net-Zero Solutions
The partnership extends beyond the supply of wind turbines, envisioning a broader strategic collaboration. Both companies will explore the integration of AI-driven data centers (AIDC), green hydrogen, energy storage, and sustainable aviation fuel solutions. This comprehensive approach aims to introduce Envision's proven net-zero technologies and industrial park model into Brazil, establishing a scalable benchmark for energy transformation across Latin America.
Henry Peng, Senior Vice President and President of Latin America and the European Region at Envision Energy, highlighted that Brazil, with nearly 90% of its electricity from clean sources, is a global leader in renewable energy. He emphasized that the partnership goes beyond turbine supply, committing to explore 'AI-enabled, system-level net-zero solutions across wind, artificial intelligence data centers (AIDC), green hydrogen, energy storage and sustainable aviation fuel.'
Commitment to Sustainable Growth and Local Impact
This collaboration is built upon a series of high-level discussions between the two companies. In May 2025, Lei Zhang met with Brazilian President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva in China to discuss Brazil's green energy transition. Subsequent talks in September 2025 involved Mário and Lucas Araripe visiting Envision to further advance net-zero industry discussions.
The project is anticipated to drive high-quality energy growth, strengthen local supply chains, accelerate emerging green industries, and support Brazil's net-zero transition, ultimately creating new prosperity for Brazil and across Latin America.
