Extensive Network Growth for Summer 2026
easyJet has revealed a substantial expansion of its network for Summer 2026, launching 16 new routes from eight UK airports. This strategic move aims to provide travellers with increased choice and connectivity to popular destinations across Europe and beyond. The new flights are already available for booking, catering to early planners for next year's holiday season.
New Spanish Connections from UK Airports
Spain features prominently in easyJet's latest expansion. A key addition is the new route from Bristol Airport to Seville, the capital of Andalusia. This service will operate twice weekly, commencing on May 2, 2026, offering a direct link to the culturally rich Spanish city. Furthermore, Bristol will also see flights to Reus in Spain, starting on June 25, 2026, with twice-weekly services. For those seeking sun in the Canary Islands, easyJet is introducing a new route from Newcastle to Tenerife, set to begin on August 1, 2026.
Broader European and International Reach
Beyond Spain, the expansion encompasses a diverse range of destinations. From Bristol, new flights will also connect to Bari in Italy from April 18, 2026, and Sal in Cape Verde from May 1, 2026. Other UK airports benefiting from new routes include:
- Birmingham: New services to Inverness (Scotland) and Nice (France).
- Manchester: Flights to Montpellier (France) and Preveza (Greece).
- Liverpool: Connections to Lisbon (Portugal) and Paphos (Cyprus).
- London Southend: A new route to Jersey (UK).
- London Stansted: Flights to Paris Charles de Gaulle (France).
- Glasgow: New links to Lisbon (Portugal), Pisa (Italy), Sharm El Sheikh (Egypt), and Malta.
Official Statements and Holiday Packages
Kevin Doyle, easyJet's UK Country Manager, highlighted the airline's dedication to providing customers with 'even more choice and connectivity' in its 30th year. Rupert Lawrie, Commercial Director at Bristol Airport, welcomed the new routes, noting that Seville represents a 'fantastic new destination' and holds particular significance for business travellers due to ties with Airbus' Seville hub. In conjunction with the flight expansion, easyJet holidays is offering package deals on all the new international routes, which include flights, accommodation, and the company's 'Ultimate Flexibility' booking policy.

More flights, more carbon emissions. When will airlines address climate change?

Just budget airlines cramming more people into popular spots. No thanks.

Offering early booking for 2026 is smart for planning, however, the long lead time might deter some, and it also puts pressure on future pricing strategies if demand fluctuates.

Increased air traffic and noise pollution. This 'expansion' isn't progress.
