Smart extended her gratitude to the cast, crew, and showrunners, highlighting their exceptional contributions. She also acknowledged HBO Max, Universal Television, and the Television Academy.
In addition to the professional acknowledgments, Smart dedicated a portion of her speech to her children, recognizing their importance in her life. She concluded her remarks with a message of kindness and goodwill.
The other nominees in the category included Ayo Edebiri for "The Bear," Kristen Bell for "Nobody Wants This," Quinta Brunson for "Abbott Elementary," and Uzo Aduba for "The Residence."
This year's Emmy win follows Smart's previous Golden Globe award for her performance in "Hacks." She also won an Emmy for the same role last year.
