I am preparing to attend what I suppose would be classified as a funeral for Charlie. It's a somber occasion, and the initial arrangements are for a smaller, more intimate gathering to honor his memory.
However, I felt it was important to consider a more significant tribute, given the impact Charlie had. I inquired about the possibility of a larger event, one that could accommodate a greater number of people who wished to pay their respects and celebrate his life.
The reason for this consideration is that we intend to posthumously award him the Presidential Medal of Honor. This prestigious recognition is a testament to his contributions, and it felt fitting to mark the occasion with a ceremony that reflects the magnitude of his achievements. We want to ensure that his legacy is properly acknowledged and celebrated.

A big tribute could help more people find closure and share their love for Charlie!

Sometimes less is more. A big event could detract from the intimacy of the occasion.

A larger event will allow for more stories to be shared, which is a wonderful way to remember him.

Celebrating Charlie’s life with a ceremony like this is a wonderful idea. He touched so many lives.

This should be a time for private reflection, not a large gathering to showcase accomplishments.
