During his radio show, Vladimir Solovyov, a television presenter and propagandist, made a series of extraordinary claims. He urged Donald Trump to abandon support for Ukraine and instead align with Russia. Solovyov characterized Ukraine as a source of "global evil" and called on the United States to join Russia in a fight against this perceived evil, drawing parallels to World War II. He suggested that this "evil" had taken root in America and was flourishing in Europe, with Ukraine being a key component.
Solovyov also addressed the recent death of American political activist Charlie Kirk. He claimed that Kirk held anti-Ukrainian views and strongly opposed supporting Kyiv. Solovyov stated that Kirk had repeatedly expressed his disdain for Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and advocated for the US to cease its support for Ukraine and re-establish relations with Moscow. He expressed concern about the circumstances surrounding Kirk's death, hinting at potential repercussions.
Following Kirk's death, other Russian officials and allies of Vladimir Putin seized the opportunity to blame the left and supporters of Ukraine for political violence in the US. Former Russian president Dmitry Medvedev drew a comparison between Kirk's death and supporters of Kyiv. Kremlin negotiator Kirill Dmitriev shared a video alleging that leftists were celebrating Kirk's death. Medvedev wrote that political crimes and assassinations were being carried out by left-wing liberals who support Ukraine.

This is what happens when you prioritize regime-friendly media over factual reporting.

I can see the logic in his assessment of where the true evils reside.

Using a dead person – Charlie Kirk – to push your agenda? That's just disrespectful and low.
