According to reports, the pilot's behavior was erratic, with sources describing her actions as if she were intoxicated. Airline staff recognized the individual, who reportedly began consuming alcohol on May 30th. The situation escalated to the point where the flight crew was notified, leading to the captain's decision to remove the passenger from the flight.
Police were called to the scene as the aircraft returned to the gate. The pilot reportedly resisted arrest, struggling with officers. Following the incident, the pilot was immediately suspended from her duties by British Airways. The flight was delayed by 90 minutes as a result of the disruption.
