Prince Harry's journey to Ukraine has raised concerns for his brother, Prince William, according to various reports. The Duke of Sussex traveled to Kyiv with his Invictus Games Foundation team following an invitation from the Ukrainian government aimed at supporting injured service members. This trip marks Harry's second visit to Ukraine since the onset of the Russian invasion in 2022, having previously traveled to Lviv in April. During Harry's initial trip, it was reported that Prince William expressed dissatisfaction and frustration at his staff for advising against Harry's visit, showing that he felt "rankled" by the situation, particularly after security officials deemed such visits a risk.
“We cannot stop the war but what we can do is do everything we can to help the recovery process.” As a veteran of the British Army, who served in Afghanistan, he is also the founder of the Invictus Games, an initiative aimed at motivating military veterans to conquer their battle injuries. Interestingly, Ukraine is vying to host the games in 2029.
While in Ukraine, Harry is expected to visit the National Museum of the History of Ukraine during the Second World War, interact with around 200 veterans, and meet with Ukrainian Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko. His visit coincides with that of British Foreign Secretary Yvette Cooper, who announced new sanctions targeting Russia's oil revenue and military supplies as a declaration of solidarity with the Ukrainian people facing intensified assaults from the Russian military. The specifics of Harry's trip were reportedly kept under wraps for security reasons.

His Invictus Games work is fantastic. This trip is a natural extension of that.

I'm not sure how much good this will do, aside from giving Harry another platform for interviews

The secrecy makes it all the more suspect. What is he really up to?

Good for him to get there and see things first hand to show a clear support for Ukraine.

He's already using his military experience to act like a hero, he's a public figure not a soldier.
