Poland Accuses Putin of Drone Attack to Sabotage Trump's Peace Efforts

In a bold accusation, Poland’s deputy Prime Minister Radek Sikorski has alleged that Vladimir Putin orchestrated a series of drone attacks on Poland to disgrace Donald Trump's peace mission. According to Sikorski, the Kremlin's denials are nothing but falsehoods, as he revealed that Poland's airspace experienced 19 incursions by Russian-manufactured drones.

The drones entered Polish airspace during the early hours on a Wednesday, with Polish forces successfully shooting down three of them. Military experts suggest that the operation was intended to test and evaluate Poland's radar defense capabilities. The attack comes on the heels of reports indicating that Russian forces have been clandestinely using Polish and Lithuanian SIM cards in their drones to hijack communication systems within these nations to navigate effectively.

Leaders from Lithuania, Ukraine, and Germany's Chancellor Friedrich Merz have also denounced the assault as a premeditated act of aggression. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has called for a strong, coordinated response from Western nations to counter Russia's provocations, highlighting the need for a united European front for effective protection against such threats. Zelensky has lamented the lack of a firm response thus far from the global community regarding Russia's aggressive actions.
