Family Pays Tribute to Kyrone Moodie After Fatal Shooting in Brixton Hill

The man who died in the shooting on Brixton Hill has been identified as 27-year-old Kyrone Moodie. The incident occurred on Monday, September 8th, when police were called to New Park Road at approximately 8:50 PM.

Upon arrival, officers found a man with gunshot wounds. He was treated at the scene and subsequently transported to the hospital. Sadly, he passed away in the early hours of the following day, September 9th. A second individual who was also injured in the shooting has since been released from the hospital.

Kyrone Moodie's family has released a statement expressing their grief. They described him as a "loving family man" who was "genuine and determined." They also shared that he was known for helping others and was a "humble, funny and God-worshiping family orientated man."

The police investigation into the shooting is ongoing. Authorities are appealing to the public for assistance and are urging any witnesses or individuals with relevant footage, such as dashcam or doorbell recordings, to come forward with information.
