"Get in there, play football and have at it."
Harris will be sporting a visor during the game to protect a minor eye injury he sustained during a fireworks incident on July 4. He was recently activated from the Non-Football Injury (NFI) List, making his way back onto the 53-man roster just last week. In August, Harris noted that his priority was to regain his football fitness and to let the backfield dynamics unfold naturally. "I am feeling good, though, and we'll just see where it leads," he remarked, indicating a positive outlook going into the matchup.
In his NFL career, Harris has been a standout performer, exceeding 1,000 rushing yards in each of his four seasons with the Pittsburgh Steelers. With a total of 4,312 rushing yards and 28 touchdowns across 68 games, all as a starter, he was drafted 24th overall in the 2021 NFL Draft. His impressive performances earned him a spot in the Pro Bowl and recognition on the NFL All-Rookie team following his debut season.
Omarion Hampton, the Chargers' first-round selection, was picked 22nd overall in the 2025 draft after an impressive college career at North Carolina. During his final season, he accounted for a significant chunk of the team's offense, racking up 2,033 yards from scrimmage and finishing with a total of 36 rushing touchdowns.

Hope he's got good peripheral vision with that visor situation...

Gonna need to see some serious protection on the line for him to be effective.

Fireworks and football don't mix well, apparently.

If he's feeling good, that's all that matters!
