FlyQuest Advances to Championship Final, Secures World Championship Berth

FlyQuest secured their spot in the grand final of the League of Legends Championship of The Americas North 2025 Split 3 after a victory over Shopify Rebellion on Sunday in Los Angeles. Their win in the upper-bracket final, with a score of 3-1, puts them within one win of claiming the title. This victory also guarantees them an automatic place in the World Championship, set to begin on October 14th in China.

Shopify Rebellion, despite the loss, remains in contention. They will now compete in the lower-bracket final, where they will face either Cloud9 or 100 Thieves. The playoff matches are structured as best-of-five series. The top three teams from this tournament will earn a spot in the LoL Championship of The Americas, which is scheduled to take place from September 13th to 28th in Allen, Texas.

FlyQuest's path to victory began with a win in 31 minutes while playing on the blue side. Shopify Rebellion responded by evening the score with a 44-minute victory on the red side. However, FlyQuest then asserted their dominance, securing consecutive wins on the blue side in 27 and 34 minutes, ultimately securing their place in the final.

The standout performer for FlyQuest was Iraqi-Canadian bot laner Fahad 'Massu' Abdulmalek, who accumulated a total of 19 kills across the four maps, along with eight deaths and 23 assists. Kacper 'Inspired' Sloma from Poland also had a notable performance, achieving a perfect 10-0-1 K-D-A ratio in the final map. Ju 'Bvoy' Yeong-hoon of South Korea led Shopify Rebellion with 14 kills.
