In Kolkata, West Bengal, Trinamool Congress (TMC) leaders Yusuf Pathan and Lalitesh Pati Tripathi are scheduled to participate in the Rahul Gandhi-led Voter Adhikar Yatra on its concluding day in Patna. The yatra is a demonstration against the BJP, focusing on accusations of "vote theft."
Yusuf Pathan, a TMC MP, confirmed that he received instructions from West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee and party leader Abhishek Banerjee to join the event. He stated that he and Tripathi would be representing the Trinamool Congress and would participate alongside other members of the INDIA Bloc.
Tripathi, also attending as a TMC representative, indicated that the issue of "vote chori" would be raised in every state. He emphasized that they were acting under the direction of Mamata Banerjee and Abhishek Banerjee and would be present for the entire day of the yatra.
