Inter Milan suffered a surprising 2-1 defeat at home against Udinese in a Serie A match on Sunday. Despite taking an early lead, Inter conceded two goals before halftime, ultimately leading to their loss.
Inter had previously secured a 5-0 victory against Torino in their opening game. However, they appeared to lack the same form in this match. Denzel Dumfries scored for Inter in the 17th minute, capitalizing on a pass from Marcus Thuram.
Udinese, who had shown promise before Inter's goal, responded effectively. They equalized 12 minutes later when Keinan Davis converted a penalty after a handball by Dumfries. Udinese then took the lead five minutes before halftime, with Arthur Atta scoring from the edge of the area.
In the second half, Inter started strongly, with Thuram heading over the crossbar and Dimarco having a goal disallowed for offside. Davis had a chance to extend Udinese's lead, but his shot went wide.
Inter continued to pressure Udinese, but the visitors held firm, securing their first away win against Inter since 2017. This victory moved Udinese to four points in the standings.
Inter, under new manager Cristian Chivu, are aiming to win the Scudetto. However, they are already behind in the standings, with Napoli, Juventus, AS Roma, and Cremonese all having maximum points after two games.

Let's not forget how strong Inter was in the first match. One bad game doesn’t define the season.

Instead of aiming for the Scudetto, we might be fighting relegation at this rate!

Look on the bright side, we still have plenty of matches to catch up in the standings.
