Several impoverished nations, primarily located in Africa, have consented to receive deportees from the United States. This action is a component of former U.S. President Donald Trump's policies targeting undocumented migrants. The motivations behind these agreements are complex and warrant investigation.
The African countries of Rwanda, South Sudan, and Eswatini have already begun accepting deportees. These individuals are predominantly citizens of nations other than the host country. El Salvador, situated in Central America, has also participated in this practice.
Uganda has also entered into an agreement to accept deportees. A notable case involves Kilmar Armando Abrego Garcia, a Salvadoran man. He was mistakenly deported to El Salvador in March and claims to have endured torture while imprisoned there before being repatriated to the United States.

The U.S. is outsourcing its moral obligations. So wrong!

How are the deportees vetted to go to countries they're not even from?

It's up to the receiving countries to manage the immigrants now. It is not the problem of the USA.

This is about enforcement. Finally, some accountability with the former president!

Abrego Garcia's story is horrifying. How many more will face similar fates?
