Following the initial meeting between the two presidents, Trump indicated that a trilateral meeting would take place. This meeting would include Putin, Zelensky, and himself. Trump characterized this as a positive early step in resolving the ongoing conflict.
According to Trump, U.S. Vice President JD Vance, Secretary of State Marco Rubio, and special envoy Steve Witkoff are currently coordinating with both Russia and Ukraine.
On Monday, Trump, Zelensky, and seven European leaders participated in multilateral discussions at the White House.
During the meeting, discussions focused on security guarantees for Ukraine. These guarantees would be provided by various European countries, in coordination with the United States.
Trump expressed optimism, stating that everyone was pleased about the potential for peace between Russia and Ukraine.
