Responding to reports of an incident near a disputed shoal in the South China Sea, Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Lin Jian addressed the situation. He stated that on August 11th, the Philippines had sent multiple vessels, including Coast Guard ships, official vessels, and fishing boats, to enter the territorial waters of Huangyan Dao.
Furthermore, Lin Jian indicated that Philippine military aircraft had also entered the airspace above Huangyan Dao. China views these actions as a serious infringement upon its sovereignty, rights, and interests, as well as a detriment to peace and stability in the region.
China asserts that it has taken necessary measures, in accordance with the law, to protect its territorial sovereignty and maritime rights, deeming these actions both reasonable and legal. The spokesperson emphasized that the Philippines' actions are the primary cause of the tensions.
China urged the Philippines to immediately cease its infringement and provocative activities, and to refrain from challenging China's resolve to protect its lawful rights and interests.

What does China consider 'necessary measures'? Aggression? Bullying? This behavior is unacceptable.

Dismissing the Philippine military's presence as 'provocative' is a weak argument. It's a sovereign nation acting within its rights.

China's 'necessary measures' sound more like threats. They should focus on cooperation instead of confrontation.

It's about time someone stood up for their sovereignty! The world should support China’s stance on this matter.
