China Eastern Airlines revealed plans to introduce a new daily flight connecting Yiwu, Zhejiang province, and Shanghai Pudong International Airport. This service is scheduled to commence on September 10th. The airline intends to improve international transit connections through the economic hub of East China with this new route.
The primary goal of this initiative is to establish a more convenient connection between Shanghai Pudong and various cities within the Yangtze River Delta region. Furthermore, the airline aims to enhance the transit efficiency and capacity of the airport.
With the addition of this new route, China Eastern will operate a total of 76 flights between Shanghai Pudong and six other Chinese cities. These cities include Nanjing in Jiangsu province, Nanchang in Jiangxi province, Hefei in Anhui province, and Lishui, Ningbo, and Wenzhou in Zhejiang province.
Passengers utilizing this transit flight can seamlessly connect to international destinations at Shanghai Pudong without the need for additional procedures.
In addition, China Eastern has launched a special family package. This package allows two adults purchasing business-class tickets for specific dates to bring a child in the same cabin free of charge, only paying for taxes and fees.
