Today, many areas in Canada can anticipate a reprieve from the extreme heat, particularly in southern and eastern Ontario, where temperatures are still above the seasonal average but are forecasted to drop to the low 30s. The national weather agency, Environment Canada, indicates that conditions in Quebec are improving, with a return to seasonal daytime temperatures and reduced humidity expected by Thursday.
Conversely, the Atlantic provinces, namely New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, and Prince Edward Island, are expected to endure highs in the mid to high 30s, with the humidity causing the heat index to feel near 40 degrees. Meanwhile, Newfoundland and Labrador will continue to experience extreme heat, with humidex values possibly exceeding 40, and certain regions likely to stay under heat warnings through Friday.
In light of these circumstances, Environment Canada recommends that residents limit their outdoor activities, stay hydrated, and be vigilant regarding the early signs of heat exhaustion to ensure their safety during this challenging weather period.

It's nice to see that Quebec's temperatures are returning to normal! Fingers crossed that it lasts.

Heat exhaustion should not be the norm. We need real solutions instead of just warnings!

How are we supposed to plan outdoor events when the weather keeps changing? This heat is ruining everything!
