Veteran Quarterbacks, Star Receivers, and Coaching Changes Reshape the League

Several prominent players are changing teams this NFL season, with notable quarterbacks leading the way. Aaron Rodgers has joined the Pittsburgh Steelers, while Russell Wilson is now with the New York Giants. Other quarterbacks finding new homes include Geno Smith, Sam Darnold, Justin Fields, and Jameis Winston.

The wide receiver position also sees significant movement. Davante Adams has moved to the Los Angeles Rams, and Cooper Kupp is now with the Seattle Seahawks. Other star receivers on the move include DK Metcalf, Deebo Samuel, Stefon Diggs, and George Pickens.

On the defensive side, several players who excelled in the Super Bowl are joining new teams. Josh Sweat and Milton Williams have secured lucrative deals with the Arizona Cardinals and New England Patriots, respectively. Darius Slay has also moved to the Steelers. Additionally, Jalen Ramsey and Minkah Fitzpatrick have swapped teams, while Jonathan Allen, Grady Jarrett, Joey Bosa, Talanoa Hufanga, and Dre Greenlaw are also wearing new uniforms.

Aaron Rodgers, after two disappointing seasons with the New York Jets, aims to revitalize his career with the Steelers. Despite a challenging season last year, he still demonstrated his passing ability. The Steelers and coach Mike Tomlin hope Rodgers can lead them to playoff success.

Russell Wilson, a seasoned quarterback, is on his fourth team in five seasons. He signed with the New York Giants, who also added Jameis Winston and drafted Jaxson Dart.

Pete Carroll, at 73 years old, is the most veteran face in a new place, leading the Las Vegas Raiders after a hiatus from coaching. He reunited with Geno Smith, who gives the Raiders stability at quarterback.

Sam Darnold, after a breakout year in Minnesota, signed with the Seattle Seahawks. Justin Fields, who showed promise in Pittsburgh, will get an opportunity to prove himself with the New York Jets.

Davante Adams moved from Las Vegas to the Los Angeles Rams. Cooper Kupp, the 2021 AP Offensive Player of the Year, joined the Seattle Seahawks. DK Metcalf, Deebo Samuel, Stefon Diggs, and George Pickens are also joining new teams.

The Commanders acquired Samuel from San Francisco. Stefon Diggs headed to New England. The Dallas Cowboys acquired Pickens from Pittsburgh.

The Commanders acquired a left tackle from Houston. A two-time All-Pro guard was dealt from Kansas City to Chicago.

Josh Sweat and Milton Williams secured significant deals after their Super Bowl performances. Darius Slay moved to the Steelers. Pittsburgh also boosted its coverage unit by trading for Ramsey.

Jonathan Allen signed with the Vikings. Grady Jarrett joined Chicago. Talanoa Hufanga and Dre Greenlaw left San Francisco for Denver. Joey Bosa signed with the Buffalo Bills.

Every year there's a massive overhaul, and it just makes it harder to keep track of who's on what team.

Aaron Rodgers to the Steelers? Is it just me or is this guy just chasing the money now?

Is Pete Carroll still relevant? Coaching the Raiders is just an embarrassing move for him.

This trade frenzy is all about money, not about loyalty or team cultures. I miss the old days.
