He emphasized his "full endorsement" of Graham, describing him as a "great guy" and highlighting Graham's consistent support for him. Trump stated he would not forget Graham's loyalty.

Senator Graham responded to Trump's call with gratitude, sharing a post on X that included footage of Trump's endorsement. Graham expressed his commitment to delivering the "America First" agenda to the people of South Carolina, attributing the past six months to the leadership of President Trump.

Senator Graham, who has been in the Senate since 2003, is currently facing Republican primary challengers. One of these challengers, Paul Dans, the former director of the 2025 Presidential Transition Project at the Heritage Foundation, was present at the event. Dans expressed his criticism of Graham on X, suggesting that Graham's seat was at risk and that clinging to Trump's support would not be enough to save him.
