A Nevada resident has been apprehended in connection with the death of a woman found at a secluded campsite in Northern California. The Sierra County Sheriff’s Office reported that deputies were dispatched shortly after midnight to a rugged area south of Sierra Brooks, a secluded community east of Downieville, where they made the grim discovery.
Upon their arrival, deputies encountered the lifeless body of a woman and a man who exhibited incoherence, as per the sheriff's office's announcement. The location of the body was confirmed to be in a dispersed area, not within a designated campground. Given the suspicious circumstances of the woman’s death, authorities promptly initiated a homicide investigation, calling in additional law enforcement support.
Within a few hours of the investigation beginning, Jesse James Dallmann, a 36-year-old from Sun Valley, Nevada, was arrested at Eastern Plumas Hospital. Court records indicate that he is being charged with murder as well as causing bodily injury to a spouse or cohabitant. While the name of the deceased woman has yet to be revealed, officials have assured the public that they consider the situation to be an isolated event, with no ongoing risks to local residents.

They're just calling it 'homicide' as an initial report. I want to know the what and how of this.

They’re probably hiding details to protect themselves and their evidence. So frustrating!
