A brush fire ignited in a mountainous region north of Los Angeles, prompting evacuations across two counties. The fire, which began on Thursday, has already consumed nearly 2,000 hectares of land.
Evacuation orders were issued for at least ten zones spanning both Los Angeles and Ventura counties. As of late Thursday evening, approximately 2,700 residents had been displaced from their homes due to the fire's rapid spread.
Firefighting efforts are underway, with at least 400 personnel deployed to combat the blaze. Authorities are working to contain the fire and protect the affected areas.
Simultaneously, firefighters are battling another significant wildfire, currently the largest in California this year. This separate fire has been burning for eight consecutive days, engulfing over 40,000 hectares within the Los Padres National Forest and posing a threat to hundreds of homes.
The newly emerged fire has burned nearly 2,000 hectares and is currently uncontained.

So many displaced people again! It’s heartbreaking but seems to be a recurring story.

Evacuations are becoming a normal part of life here—it's exhausting!

It seems like we are just waiting for disasters to happen instead of taking proactive measures.

I can’t believe we're dealing with two major wildfires at once. Where's the disaster preparedness?

This is a wake-up call, yet most people just go back to ignoring climate change. Sad.
