Meghan Markle's close friends shared affectionate birthday messages this week as she celebrated turning 44. The Duchess of Sussex, whose birthday was on Monday, received numerous well wishes, though the Royal Family did not publicly acknowledge the occasion.
In addition to fan greetings, Meghan received heartfelt social media messages from her friends, including her former "Suits" co-star, Abigail Spencer. Abigail, who also celebrated her own birthday, described the duchess as "champagne in human form."
Sharing photos of the pair, Abigail wrote on Instagram, "As glorious as the day I met you. Champagne in human form. A creature unlike any other." She continued, "Thank you for being a sister in this life, and beyond. Words can’t capture. From the rooftops. So grateful for your life, @meghan. Thanks for saving mine. Love, Abs. 44/4. 8/4/81."
Another friend, Kelly McKee Zajfen, a former model and co-founder of Alliance of Moms, also publicly wished Meghan a happy birthday. Kelly shared a photo of herself and Meghan enjoying outdoor time, writing, "Happy Birthday to you sweet M!! You’re pure magic!! A force of fun, light, and so much love. Thank you for being the kind of friend who makes everything better (and way more fun). Here’s to the best trip around the sun yet! Love you so very much!"
It is believed that Meghan celebrated her birthday privately with Prince Harry, their children Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet. The duchess has not yet shared any photographs from the day.

Doesn't feel like the royal family should be acknowledging her.
