The Equestrian Premier League (EPL) took place in Bengaluru on Saturday, hosted by the Embassy International Riding School (EIRS). The event featured riders from various clubs across the country, with judging conducted by leading experts in the sport. Representing Mumbai's Amateur Riders' Club (ARC), Taarini Lodha, Stasya Pandya, Freya Deshmane, Yashaan Khambatta, and Yash Nensee achieved medal-winning performances across multiple categories.
Taarini Lodha, riding Knock Out, secured a gold medal in the Children 1 Dressage category, achieving a score of 65.841%. Stasya Pandya also earned a gold medal in the Sub-Junior Show Jumping (80-90cm) category, completing a flawless round in 35.71 seconds.
In the Children's Dressage category, Stasya Pandya demonstrated skill, finishing in joint 5th place on both of her horses, including Jisamer, with identical scores of 61.835%. Freya Deshmane, riding Chopstick, earned a third-place finish in the 115cm Show Jumping event.
The 135cm Show Jumping category saw strong competition. Yashaan Khambatta achieved a third-place finish on Lord and a fourth-place finish on Dolce Vita. Yash Nensee, riding D'Amour du Nenuphar, secured fifth place in the same class.
Following her gold medal win, 13-year-old Taarini Lodha expressed her gratitude for the support and dedication that contributed to her success. She emphasized the importance of hard work, the support of her coach, club, and family in her equestrian journey.
