China has taken significant steps to facilitate international travel by granting visa-free access to travelers from 75 nations. An immigration official, Wang Zhizhong, who leads the National Immigration Administration, announced that the number of countries enjoying visa-free transit has grown to 55, and the country has added more entry points, now totaling 60 across 24 different regions, including provinces and municipalities.
During this initiative, border inspection authorities have reported impressive figures, processing 1.556 billion cross-border visits and assessing over 98 million vehicles. This accomplishment positions China among the top countries globally for border clearance efficiency. Additionally, the global mobility ranking of the Chinese passport has improved significantly, rising from the 72nd position in 2021 to the 60th place, indicating a surge in its international standing.

I see a hidden agenda here. This is likely a way to attract foreign capital and influence.

China's border is not efficient if my travel is not possible by the issues of China's trade wars with other countries.

Border clearance efficiency is irrelevant if you go there and are subject to government censorship.
