China Conducts Military and Coast Guard Patrols Near Huangyan Dao

On Saturday, the Southern Theater Command of the Chinese People's Liberation Army (PLA) deployed troops to conduct combat readiness patrols in the territorial waters and airspace near China's Huangyan Dao and surrounding areas. This announcement was made through the command's WeChat account.

The command has been increasing patrol and alert operations around the territorial waters and airspace of Huangyan Dao since May. These actions are aimed at strengthening management and control over the area, protecting national sovereignty and security, and maintaining peace and stability in the South China Sea.

Also on Saturday, the China Coast Guard (CCG) conducted law enforcement patrols in the territorial waters and surrounding areas of Huangyan Dao. The CCG released this information via its WeChat account.

Since May, the CCG has been consistently increasing law enforcement patrols in the territorial waters and surrounding areas of Huangyan Dao. These patrols involve tracking and monitoring, issuing verbal warnings, and intercepting and driving away vessels, all in accordance with relevant laws and regulations. The goal is to enhance control over the maritime areas and firmly protect national territorial sovereignty and maritime rights and interests.
