Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) arrested several convicted criminals who were in the country illegally on Tuesday. Among those arrested were individuals convicted of sex crimes against children.
One of the individuals arrested was Mohammed Sesay, a Sierra Leone national. He was convicted in Maryland a decade ago for raping an 11-year-old girl multiple times over a five-month period in 2014. He also threatened to kill her if she reported the abuse. The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) stated that Sesay's actions were discovered after an "assault" during a family gathering, when the victim's father learned of the incident.
Another individual, Pablo Tahay-Par, a Guatemalan national, was convicted of unlawfully contacting a minor as a sexual offense in Pennsylvania. Alex Ventura, a Salvadoran national, was convicted of drunk driving, which resulted in injuries to six children. One child suffered a fractured skull in the 2022 crash.
Jose David Contreras-Sierra, a Venezuelan national, has a history of offenses in Rockville, Maryland, including armed robbery, use of a handgun during a felony, first-degree assault, and drug distribution. Deibe Ramos-Rodriguez, a Dominican national, was convicted on alien smuggling charges in Texas. Daniel Gutierrez-Leiva of Guatemala was arrested by ICE Baltimore and has a second-degree rape conviction.
Wilbert Rudlof Wiebe-Thiessen, a Mexican citizen, was also arrested by ICE Dallas. He is charged with assault against a family member by impeding their breath or circulation and making terroristic threats.
These arrests are part of ICE's ongoing efforts to increase deportations and hire more agents. The agency regularly updates its "Worst of the Worst" arrests.

I bet the same people supporting this are against gun control. This hypocrisy is exhausting.

Building a wall is easier than solving the problem of why people become criminals.

These arrests send a message that we won’t tolerate criminals, regardless of their legal status.
