In the match against Singapore, Team China took an early 1-0 advantage, capitalizing on the errors of their opponents in the first inning, thanks to Yan Siyu's efforts. Xie Jiaxin also played a pivotal role, hitting a base hit that enabled Xi Kaixin to score in the third inning. The team's performance peaked in the fifth inning, where Yan's base hit contributed to a three-run inning, sealing their fifth win in the tournament. Japan's encounter with Chinese Taipei ended in a tense 1-1 draw until the last inning, where batter Fujimori Natsumi provided a breakthrough with a home-run that led to a 4-1 triumph. Other notable results from Wednesday included South Korea's solid victories over Hong Kong (9-1) and Thailand (8-0), while the Philippines decisively overcame India (15-0) and Malaysia (14-0). Singapore also emerged victorious against Malaysia with a score of 10-1. Looking ahead, China is set to face South Korea and the Philippines on Thursday as the tournament progresses with ten competing teams, and the top two will advance to vie for the championship title.
