Unreleased music, along with show plans and concert set lists belonging to Beyoncé, were stolen from a rental car in Atlanta. The car was being used by the singer's choreographer and one of her dancers. The incident report details the theft, which included materials stored on five thumb drives.
The theft occurred on July 8th, just two days before Beyoncé's four-day residency at Atlanta’s Mercedes-Benz Stadium. She was scheduled to perform her final show in the city on Monday evening. The Atlanta Police Department has since issued an arrest warrant for a suspect, whose identity has been withheld.
Besides the music-related items, two MacBook laptops, Apple headphones, and various luxury clothing and accessories were also reported stolen. The choreographer, Christopher Grant, and dancer Diandre Blue, parked their rental car, a 2024 Jeep Wagoneer, at a food hall. Upon their return, they found the trunk window damaged and two suitcases missing.
Grant informed the police that he was also in possession of sensitive personal information belonging to Beyoncé. The police report identifies a possible suspect vehicle as a 2025 red Hyundai Elantra. Officers found evidence at the scene, including "light prints," and security cameras captured the incident.
Officers used the location services of the stolen laptop and headphones to search the area. Beyoncé began her tour in late April, performing her Grammy-winning album, Cowboy Carter, in stadiums across the U.S. and Europe. The tour is scheduled to conclude with two shows in Las Vegas later in July.
