The fight, filmed by an astounded beachgoer, involved a group of shirtless men who were seen struggling to throw punches while losing their footing on the sandy shore. This beach brawl follows a violent incident on June 30, where police were targeted with glass bottles during a confrontation near the historic pier of Bournemouth. That earlier unrest was sparked by an earlier fight that left a teenage girl injured. In response to the increasing disorder, Dorset Police announced plans to enhance their presence with heightened patrols on the seafront, confiscating alcohol and illegal substances while enforcing fines to mitigate such outbreaks of anti-social behavior. Section 35 dispersal powers will also be implemented to clear individuals from the scene when necessary.
