China to Showcase Advanced Military Hardware in Upcoming Parade

A senior military organizer announced that all weapons and equipment showcased in China's upcoming military parade on September 3rd will be domestically produced and currently in active service. This display will highlight the advancements in the Chinese military's equipment development.

The parade will serve as a concentrated demonstration of the Chinese military's system-based combat capabilities, its new-domain and new-quality combat power, and its strategic deterrent strength. The event is a key component of the commemorative activities taking place in Beijing's Tian'anmen Square to mark the 80th anniversary of the victory in the Chinese People's War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression and the World Anti-Fascist War.

The parade will involve the People's Liberation Army and the People's Armed Police Force, featuring foot formations, equipment formations, and air echelons. The foot formations will showcase the new organizational structure and deployment of services and arms following the military's reform and reorganization.

The equipment formations will highlight the latest advancements in equipment system development, reflecting China's independent innovation capabilities in weaponry. The air echelons will demonstrate the systematized level of the air combat forces and their rapidly improving advanced combat capabilities.

The parade will feature both traditional main combat forces and new-domain and new-quality forces. Alongside a new generation of traditional weaponry, the event will include new types of combat forces such as unmanned intelligence, underwater combat, cyberspace offense and defense, and hypersonic forces.

These arrangements reflect the Chinese military's strong capabilities to adapt to technological development and the evolution of war patterns, and to win future wars. The displayed weapons and equipment will include strategic strike forces, advanced tactical equipment, and new-quality forces designed for future warfare.

The equipment will cover all types of forces, including command and control, reconnaissance and early warning, air defense and anti-missile, firepower strike, and integrated support. These pieces of equipment are geared towards real combat, with higher strike precision, stronger battlefield adaptability, and greater combat effectiveness.

The purpose of the parade is to highlight the historical significance of the Chinese People's War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression as the main Eastern theater of the World Anti-Fascist War and its contributions to the victory. The parade also aims to demonstrate China's resolve to safeguard the achievements of World War II victory and international fairness and justice, and its responsibility in promoting the building of a community with a shared future for mankind. It will also display the PLA's determination and strength in safeguarding national sovereignty, security, and development interests, and upholding world peace.
