The Women's Big Bash League (WBBL) season 11 will commence with a rematch of the previous year's final between the Melbourne Renegades and Brisbane Heat. The tournament will kick off with a triple-header of matches across Brisbane and Perth.
Cricket Australia has released the 43-game schedule for WBBL|11, which will span 35 days. The season is scheduled to begin on November 9 and conclude with the final on December 13. The start date is later than usual this year due to the ICC Women's Cricket World Cup in India, which concludes on November 2.
Brisbane, the runners-up from last season, will host the reigning champions at Allan Border Field on the opening day. Following this match, Hobart Hurricanes and Sydney Thunder, also finalists from WBBL|10, will compete at the same venue. The first day's triple-header will conclude with the Scorchers hosting Sydney Sixers at the redeveloped WACA Ground.
The Melbourne Stars will host the Adelaide Strikers the following day at the CitiPower Centre. All eight teams will begin their seasons within the first two days. The finals series structure will remain unchanged from previous seasons.
The team that finishes at the top of the table at the end of the regular season will host the final on Saturday, December 13. The teams finishing third and fourth will compete in the Knockout on December 9, hosted by the third-ranked team. The winner of the Knockout will then play the second-ranked qualifier in The Challenger on December 11 for a place in the final.

Another WBBL season already? Feels like the last one just finished!

Late start means it's clashing with other sports, like football, so poor timing.

Will the broadcast quality improve this year, or are we still dealing with amateur hour?
