The State Council Taiwan Affairs Office revealed on Wednesday that its newly established reporting platform had received almost 6,000 reports by Tuesday. The platform was created to gather information on individuals involved in activities related to "Taiwan independence."
The online platform, launched on March 26, specifically seeks reports of malicious actions by those considered "Taiwan independence" henchmen and accomplices who are persecuting people in Taiwan.
According to spokesperson Chen Binhua, the high number of reports demonstrates the public's strong disapproval of those who are disrupting cross-Straits exchanges and cooperation, as well as those who are persecuting people on the island. Chen emphasized that the reports reflect widespread anger towards those enabling "Taiwan independence."
Chen further stated that the office will continue to operate based on factual verification and legal standards. Once reports are confirmed, those implicated will be held accountable and punished according to the law.

This clearly discourages those on the island from engaging with the mainland. Destructive.

The mainland has the right to protect its interests by addressing the "Taiwan independence" movement.

No one should be punished for expressing their views, especially when it comes to political ideology.
