The National Rifle Association of India (NRAI) has announced the Indian shooting squads for several upcoming international competitions. These include the senior squad for the 16th Asian Shooting Championship (ASC) Rifle/Pistol/Shotgun, which will be held in Shymkent, Kazakhstan, from August 16th to 30th, 2025.
Other squads were revealed for the International Shooting Sport Federation (ISSF) World Cup Rifle/Pistol in Ningbo, China, scheduled for September 7th to 15th. Additionally, the junior India squads for the 16th ASC and the ISSF Junior World Cup Rifle/Pistol/Shotgun, which will take place in New Delhi from September 24th to October 2nd, 2025, were also announced.

Notable shooters returning to the senior squad include former men's air rifle world champion Rudrankksh Patil, along with Olympians Anjum Moudgil (women's 50m rifle 3 positions), Aishwary Pratap Singh Tomar (men's 50m rifle 3 positions), Saurabh Chaudhary (men's 10m air pistol), and Kynan Chenai (men's Trap).
Esha Singh, Mehuli Ghosh, and Kiran Ankush Jadhav are included in both senior squads, though they will compete in different events. Olympic bronze medalist Swapnil Kusale and former Asian Games champion and Olympian Rahi Sarnobat are also part of the Ningbo squad.
The only difference between the two 36-member junior squads is Olympian Raiza Dhillon. She is part of the Delhi World Cup junior women's skeet team, replacing Mansi Raghuvanshi, who will compete in the junior ASC team, where Raiza participates in the senior events.
