Anyone's Legend Advances in MSI After Victory Over CTBC Flying Oyster

Anyone's Legend secured a victory against CTBC Flying Oyster with a score of 3-1, progressing in the lower bracket of the League of Legends Mid-Season Invitational held in Vancouver on Monday. This win eliminated CTBC Flying Oyster from the tournament.

As a result of their win, Anyone's Legend will now compete in Round 3 of the lower bracket. Their next opponent will be determined by the outcome of the match between Bilibili Gaming and FlyQuest, scheduled for Tuesday.

The competition features teams representing various League of Legends regions, including China, Korea, the Pacific region, the Americas, and Europe-Middle East-Africa. Each region is represented by two teams.

All matches throughout the play-in and double-elimination bracket stages are conducted in a best-of-five format. The ultimate victor of the grand final will receive a prize of $500,000 and a spot in the League of Legends World Championship, which is scheduled to take place in China this fall.

In their match on Monday, Anyone's Legend quickly gained momentum, securing wins in 36 and 41 minutes, both while playing on the red side.

CTBC Flying Oyster managed to extend the series with a 33-minute win, also on the red side. However, Anyone's Legend responded decisively, claiming victory in 30 minutes on the blue side to secure their advancement.

Wang 'Hope' Jie, representing China and playing for Anyone's Legend, delivered a strong performance. His average kills-deaths-assists ratio across the four maps was 5.5-1.8-5.8.
