In other news, a well-known Las Vegas casino is changing its operations. Buffalo Bill’s in Primm, which opened in 1994, will no longer be open 24/7. Instead, it will only host concerts and special events.
The casino, which once featured over 1,700 slot machines and attractions like a roller coaster, is owned by Affinity Gaming. The company stated that the shift is intended to enhance the guest experience. Guests are encouraged to visit the Primm Valley Resort & Casino, which offers updated amenities. The Star of the Desert Arena, part of Buffalo Bill’s, will remain open.
Buffalo Bill’s had previously closed temporarily during the COVID-19 pandemic and reopened with renovations in 2022. However, these improvements did not significantly increase customer traffic. Affinity Gaming also owns Whiskey Pete’s Casino in Primm, which was temporarily closed in December 2024.
