In Wakayama Prefecture's Shirahama, a poignant farewell was held for a family of giant pandas destined for China. Thousands of devoted fans, along with the zoo's staff, gathered to bid adieu to the beloved animals.
The departure ceremony on June 28th saw approximately 300 Adventure World staff members expressing their heartfelt goodbyes. The pandas, including 24-year-old Rauhin and her daughters Yuihin, Saihin, and Fuhin, were all born at the park. Their return to China was due to the animals' ownership.
The pandas were carefully placed in cages and loaded onto two trucks for their journey. Zoo staff reported that the animals remained calm throughout the process. At the ceremony, the park's director, Koji Imazu, encouraged everyone to embrace the future and to send off the pandas with smiles.
The day before the departure, June 27th, marked the final opportunity for the public to see the pandas. Around 3,000 people, who had secured their spots through advance applications, gathered at Adventure World to cherish one last glimpse of the pandas.

24 years, that's a long life! I just hope they'll live equally long and happy further ahead.

How's this going to affect Adventure World's income, I wonder? It really sucks for them.

The day before their departure, that's not enough time from the emotional impact! How could the public adjust fast?
