Prince William and Princess Kate have been named the most socially significant people in the UK by Tatler magazine's Social Power Index. The couple, described as "the most influential in the land," surpassed figures like David Beckham and Sir David Attenborough. Tatler highlighted their appeal, calling them ideal dinner guests and praising their diverse interests, including their support for Aston Villa, appreciation for nature, and love of tennis. The magazine also acknowledged Princess Catherine's resilience following her cancer diagnosis.
Following closely behind the Prince and Princess of Wales were Maro Itoje, the British and Irish Lions captain, and his wife Mimi. Itoje's accomplishments in rugby were specifically recognized.
Other prominent figures featured on the list included Sir David Beckham and Lady Beckham, who secured fifth place. Tatler noted the continued success of the "Brand Beckham," particularly with Sir David's recent knighthood. David Beckham, a friend of the Royal Family, is also set to appear in an upcoming documentary about the King's environmental work. The index also included naturalist Sir David Attenborough, Health Secretary Wes Streeting, and actor Dominic West.
