A gardener in Los Angeles was assaulted in broad daylight while working in the Brentwood neighborhood. The attack occurred on Monday when the gardener, Rodolfo Roman, was confronted by a man who reportedly had been squatting in a nearby abandoned home. The man, armed with a large stick, approached Roman and complained about the noise from his gardening equipment.
The situation escalated when the man began hitting Roman in the head with the stick. Video footage shows the attacker repeatedly striking Roman, even after he fell to the ground. Roman attempted to shield himself, but the assault continued.
Following the attack, Roman was taken to a local hospital where he was treated for a broken arm and a head wound that required stitches. He expressed fear about returning to the neighborhood. The homeowner where Roman was working described the incident as a "worst nightmare" and stated that the attacker had been a source of concern for some time.
A fundraising campaign was launched to support Roman, exceeding its initial goal. A neighbor reported that criminal activity at the abandoned house had been increasing, and that the attacker had previously threatened him. The homeowner also mentioned having contacted the police multiple times regarding the man.

It’s ridiculous that someone can just attack another person over noise. What’s wrong with people?
