China's Military Parade to Showcase Advanced Weapons and Combat Capabilities

The upcoming military parade in Beijing, scheduled for September 3rd, will showcase the Chinese military's advanced combat capabilities. A senior military officer stated that the displayed weapons and equipment represent the military's system-based combat abilities, its strength in new domains and of new quality, and its strategic deterrence power.

All of the weaponry and equipment featured in the parade are currently in active service. These domestically produced items highlight China's independent innovation in weapons development. They are designed for increased strike precision, improved battlefield adaptability, and enhanced combat effectiveness.

The parade, to be held in Tian'anmen Square, will commemorate the 80th anniversary of the victory in the Chinese People's War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression and the World Anti-Fascist War. The equipment will be drawn from combat units across various branches of the military, including strategic strike forces and advanced operational and tactical equipment. New types of forces, designed for future warfare, will also be represented.

The displayed equipment will encompass a wide range of capabilities, including command and control, reconnaissance and early warning, air and missile defense, fire strike, and integrated support. The parade is organized around combat groups, emphasizing information dominance, system-of-systems support, elite force operations, and joint-force victory.
