The EuroMillions draw on Tuesday night offered a substantial £22 million prize. This followed a recent win in County Cork, Ireland, where a ticket holder secured a remarkable £208 million.
To participate in the EuroMillions, players needed to select five numbers and two Lucky Stars, or opt for a Lucky Dip for randomly generated numbers.
The Thunderball draw commenced at 8 pm, with the winning numbers being 10, 13, 17, 18, 31, and the Thunderball number 1. The EuroMillions draw followed shortly after, revealing the winning numbers as 7, 16, 21, 23, 39, with Lucky Stars 7 and 11.
The jackpot had rolled over from the previous Friday, where £14,569,000 was up for grabs but not won. Four winners, including one from the UK, matched five numbers and one star, each winning £118,828.80. Additionally, the UK Millionaire Maker awarded £1 million with the code JQDG19394.
The EuroMillions jackpot is capped at €250 million, equivalent to £208 million. The winning ticket from the previous week was purchased in County Cork, Ireland, marking the country's largest jackpot win.

I'm all for a little hope! Lotteries can be a fun escape, even if you don't win!

Why is this news? More like a distraction from the lack of affordable housing and healthcare.

This is just another way to distract people from real issues. The lottery is a scam.
