Following the strikes, differing accounts emerged regarding the extent of the damage. While the US President claimed the facilities were "completely and totally obliterated," other sources offered a more nuanced assessment. Israeli officials indicated "very serious damage" to the Fordo site, while a senior US official acknowledged the facility was severely damaged but not destroyed.

Iranian authorities confirmed the attacks but stated that work would not be halted, as materials had been evacuated beforehand. Satellite imagery showed significant discoloration of the mountainside, indicating a layer of ash from the explosions. Experts noted the presence of multiple impact points and concrete debris.

The Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) confirmed the direct impact on the Fordo site, but the extent of internal damage remained uncertain. The IAEA reported no increase in off-site radiation levels. The Director General emphasized the importance of pursuing a diplomatic path to end hostilities.

At a UN Security Council meeting, China condemned the US attacks as a violation of international law and Iran's sovereignty. China expressed deep concern over the escalating tensions and urged an immediate ceasefire to prevent further escalation.
