Beckham Sends Birthday Wishes to Prince William, Sharing Photos from the Past

David Beckham shared a birthday message for Prince William on his social media today. The Prince of Wales is celebrating his 43rd birthday, and is expected to be celebrated by family and friends. The former footballer, recently knighted, joined other members of the Royal Family and the public in sending birthday wishes to the future King.

Beckham posted two photos of himself with the Prince on Instagram. One image was taken in South Africa in 2010 during a reception before the 2010 FIFA World Cup.

The second photo was from the 2024 BAFTAs in London, showing the two men shaking hands and laughing. Beckham included the British flag emoji and tagged William's official Instagram account, adding a birthday message with a heart emoji. Earlier in the day, Kensington Palace shared a photograph of the Prince with his dog Orla and her puppies to mark the occasion.

The photograph, taken by the Princess of Wales, included the caption "Happy birthday! Love C, G, C, L, Orla and the puppies!" The image showed the Prince of Wales petting one of the chocolate cocker spaniel puppies, with Orla behind him. The puppies were born last month, and the photograph was taken in Windsor earlier in June.
