Royal Commentator Slams Meghan Markle's "Toe-Curling" Demand for Truth

When asked if she would alter anything to gain favor, she responded by urging others to "tell the truth." She also alluded to a "lie" from eight years prior, stating that it "can't live forever."

The commentator, Lee Cohen, a US-based journalist, strongly criticized Meghan's remarks. He accused her of having a "strained relationship with the truth" and found her demand for others to be truthful to be "toe-curling." Cohen went on to describe the Duchess as "the most tone deaf, least self-aware figure in the public eye." He further stated that she had been "rightly humiliated and lampooned for it in Hollywood."

Cohen's criticism also referenced Meghan's past statements, particularly those made during her interview with Oprah Winfrey. He pointed out that these claims had "crumbled under scrutiny." The Duchess's interview with Oprah included various accusations against the Royal Family, such as a lack of support for her mental health, a disagreement with Princess Kate, and a lack of guidance before her marriage. The Royal Family has not publicly responded to these claims.
